About File Explorer (PC, Mac, NAS)
File Explorer (PC, Mac, NAS) is a cross-platform file management app that brings your desktop, network storage, and cloud files to your Android device—no downloading required. Access files stored on your computer, NAS, cloud accounts, USB drives, and SD cards all from one unified interface.
Connect to your network storage and cloud services with ease. The app automatically discovers computers, servers, and NAS devices when you set up a new connection. Browse and manage files across SMB, NFS, WebDAV, FTP, and SFTP protocols. Access Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, OwnCloud, Amazon S3, Mega Cloud, and pCloud directly from your phone or tablet.
Stream movies and music from your computer, NAS, or cloud storage to your Android device without waiting for downloads. View, rename, and delete files remotely. Add frequently used folders and files to your favorites for instant access. Review recently opened files to jump back to what you need quickly. The app supports dark mode and optimized layouts for large-screen devices like tablets, ChromeOS, and Android TV.
Transfer files seamlessly between your phone, computer, NAS, and cloud storage using drag-and-drop or built-in file transfer tools. Use the FTP and HTTP servers for quick file exchanges, or try Nearby Drop to transfer files between Android and iOS devices on the same network. Network tools let you ping hosts, list open ports, scan your local network, and send Wake-On-Lan commands—useful for managing multiple devices.
Other apps can open and edit files stored in File Explorer (PC, Mac, NAS) directly through Storage Access Framework integration. The free version includes all core features; the Pro edition adds unlimited connections, device sync, photo editing, automatic backup of photos to your storage devices, and file synchronization between your phone and computer.
Manage your entire digital ecosystem from a single app. File Explorer (PC, Mac, NAS) turns your phone into a remote file manager for your entire home or office network.
